Scott began his professional career in the early 1990's as a CPA with the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche. After 6 years in public accounting, Scott moved into industry as an accounting Manager with Massey Energy Company. Scott's wife, Nancy, is a managing member of Youngblood Properties LLC, a local builder/developer specializing in high-end homes in Richmond's West End. Several years ago, she convinced Scott that real estate might be an exciting and dynamic alternative to his career in corporate accounting. That is when it all began and Scott has not looked back. He currently represents Youngblood Properties in their West End subdivisions. In addition, he works with buyers and sellers in Richmond, Henrico, Hanover, Goochland, and Chesterfield.

From market values to important local issues, Scott strives to know everything about the marketplace that surrounds your property. He diligently analyzes market conditions in order to price and position his clients' homes to create maximum value. Actively marketing is the cornerstone of Scott's success. He does not rely on passive activities such as the MLS system, signs in the yard, and newspaper advertising to get homes sold.

Scott is a cum laude graduate of Hampden-Sydney College with a degree in Economics and a student of William & Mary, where he received his Accounting training.  He is currently licensed in Virginia as an Associate Real Estate Broker & Certified Public Accountant.  Professional real estate designations include:

Outside of the office, family, pets (1 dog, 3 cats, & a horse), fishing, racquetball, tae kwon do, and an occasional hacking at the golf course keep him very busy.
